The Purpose

From asking my question, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of poverty and the severity of this issue. So I can then figure out ways I can help end this issue and educate other people on this important topic. To help answer my main question, "why are millions of people suffering from poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa," a have a few underling questions...
  1. What is poverty? My first question is what is poverty because I feel it's important to first understand what poverty is before getting any deeper in my research. By learning more about what poverty is, it will help give a better understanding about why this is such a big issue and help answer our main question, of why millions of people are suffering from poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  2.  How many people are living in poverty in Sub- Saharan Africa? In my main question it states that there's million of people living in poverty but I actually have to prove that. This was just an assumption I made from previous knowledge. I know must find out if my assumption is correct and who are these people being affected. like, do kids also live in poverty? This is all important to know because it will help show just how wide spread this issue is, making it a global issue.
  3.  What are the affects of poverty? For it be a serious problem, it has create serious issues/ have serious affects. Why is poverty so bad that it literally kills people, what is the cause of that? If we don't answer this question then people wont know the actual dangers of this problem. Making it not seem as big of a deal as it actually is, because poverty is a big deal, its  dangerous and a life threatening situation.
  4.  How does poverty impact the development of children? The kids are our future. Poverty can have some serious damage on anybody and everybody. So what kind of damage does it do to the brain and body that's still developing. Do kids in poverty have psychological, emotional, or mental struggles because of their life in poverty? I feel its important to answer this question because it will show the deadly cycle of poverty and why it's so hard for people in poverty to leave it because everyone's affected.
  5. Is the past history in Sub- Saharan Africa the cause of their poverty? I don’t just want to know why this is happening but where did it come from, how did it start and has it always been like this? By answering this questions it will help give a deeper understanding of why this is happening or still happening.
  6. What are people doing to help end poverty and what can people do to help end poverty? This is a global issue that needs to be stopped. So what are people doing to help end poverty? This is just an important question because it gives a solution to the problem and gives people hope and that’s honestly the most important aspect of ending poverty, in my opinion at least.
